How to start something that works?

Updated: Aug 16

We have always been taught to have an end goal whenever we start a new project. But how many of us truly have the guts to start when we tend to worry about how to even execute that idea? Well for starters, taking that first plunge is always nerve wrecking but I found that simply being open to going through new experiences definitely helps to open up new perspectives. And in my case meeting like-minded people who can inspire you to jump in with both feet in can be the catalyst we all need!

This is my journey.

The IG algorithm sent me the Crane event on branding so I decided to just bite the bullet and signed up for it!

  • Attended and met new people

  • Took up the offer to meet Celine as that first step

  • Connected with her on similar interests

  • Attending her WIX workshop and learnt how to use the 360 approach

  • Applying what I learnt felt good as I got to actually see the gears in motion

I have always been telling my kids and my friends not to shortchange oneself. You might surprise yourself along the way when you actually do go down that road. This takes me back to when I was on the ski slope recently refusing to ski down out of fear. However the instructor told me to just focus on him as he led me down and after a few nail biting turns he told me to look up to see how far I had progressed down the mountain! The phrase "seeing is believing" somehow didn't sink in and I still couldn't believe I got down the mountain safely.

Hence I believe it takes more than one try to build that confidence. We have to continually force ourselves to get out there and take that next chair lift to try out new slopes to prove to ourselves that we can face our fears each time, even if it means having a guide with us.

Let's see how I navigate this new adventure of starting Connect & Create and I look forward to meeting new friends to help them along their journey too!

"I would highly recommend Natasha to anyone seeking dedicated and reliable services who not only gets the job done but does so with genuine care and professionalism."
