Learning something new each day

After attending two back to back classes over the past weekend from 9am to 5pm, I was inspired to relook at my leadership patterns and how I operate in group discussions and projects. I also realised that I have done so much since I left the retail industry, whether it was in charity work or helping a friend run an online portal with trade shows and pop-up events. Looking back, ever since I ventured into completing my Graduate Diploma in Coaching Psychology and what had transpired from 2025 onwards, I am now having fun editing my resume and updating my LinkedIn Profile with exciting new advancements in my personal and professional journey! By the end of this year, I would have completed both my Graduate Diploma in Applied Positive Psychology and Wellness as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Positive Organisational Psychology and Leadership. My kids have enjoyed watching me study and complete my assignments and often joined me at the library too!


This has been an enriching way of crafting out my purpose in this next phase of my life.


Education / Professional Identity

I bring an interdisciplinary foundation spanning business, psychology, coaching, leadership and wellbeing. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University, with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Psychology, providing an early foundation in human behaviour, strategy and communication . Building on this, from 2025–2027, I intentionally deepened my practitioner expertise in human development and organisational transformation through advanced studies in Coaching Psychology, Applied Positive Psychology, Positive Organisational Psychology & Leadership, and I am currently working towards completing my MSc in Professional Development in Health & Social Care specialising in Organisational Psychology, Leadership and Wellbeing. My work sits at the intersection of behavioural science, leadership development, positive psychology, coaching and workplace wellbeing.



Work Experience

With over two decades of experience spanning marketing, communications, business development, events, brand building, coaching and stakeholder engagement, I have worked across hospitality, luxury retail, lifestyle, entrepreneurship and organisational development . My career has included leadership roles at Raffles Hotel, retail and lifestyle brands, business development ventures, and my own platform Connect & Create Jobs, where I have designed experiences, built partnerships, developed brands, led events, supported business growth, and coached private clients. This breadth allows me to blend strategic thinking with human-centric leadership, commercial acumen and experiential learning design.



Events / Workshops / Facilitation

I have designed, curated and delivered a diverse portfolio of events, workshops and collaborative experiences focused on leadership, wellbeing, parenting, personal growth, community engagement, positive psychology and human connection. My work spans facilitating intimate developmental workshops, co-creating learning experiences, moderating conversations, securing speakers and partnerships, and producing experiential events that bring people together meaningfully. Whether working with private clients, community groups, organisations or collaborative partners, I focus on creating psychologically safe, engaging and transformative spaces where learning translates into reflection, action and sustainable change. With my recent certification as a SPARK Resilience Workplace Trainer, I aspire to add more depth in my workshops and coaching practices using the training and my education in Applied Positive Psychology. I am currently also building the following two concepts Strengths-To-Action™  and Resilience-at-Home-Programme™ and eager to roll them out soon.
